Rob Blackwell

Initiated: Initiated: November 4, 2018, Xi Alpha Lambda Chapter, Prince William County, VA Rob’s commitment to Alpha Phi Alpha led him to become a life member, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to the principles and mission of the fraternity. In addition to his affiliation with Alpha Phi Alpha, Rob is also an active life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Born and raised in Washington, DC, Rob Blackwell later moved to St. Mary’s County to complete his high school education. Currently, he resides in Prince George’s County, MD. Rob has built a successful career in the Information Technology (I.T.) field, spanning 16 years. He serves as the CEO of CyTech Services LLC, a cybersecurity consulting firm operating within the Washington metropolitan area. Rob holds an impressive educational background, having earned both his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and his master’s degree in Cybersecurity Management & Policy from the University of Maryland University College. He also holds several industry certifications, including PMP (Project Management Professional) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional). Within the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Rob Blackwell’s contributions have been recognized and celebrated. He was honored as the Brother of the Year for the 2021-2022 term by the Xi Alpha Lambda Chapter in acknowledgment of his outstanding dedication and service. Beyond his chapter involvement, Rob plays a vital role at the district level, serving as the Chair of College to Corporate Life (C2C) for the Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha (VACAPAF) District. This role underscores his commitment to supporting fraternity members as they transition from academia to the professional world. Additionally, he offers his expertise to the district technology committee as a Cybersecurity Advisor, further contributing to the fraternity’s success and development in the digital age.Greta J. Greta J. Thompson was born and raised in Danville, VA. She attended Old Dominion University where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration majoring in Finance. She was initiated into the Kappa Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in Spring 1992. She is a charter member of Psi Psi Omega Chapter in Stafford, VA and has served on numerous committees in addition to serving as the Financial Secretary for many years.

Christina Henry Roberson was born in Greensboro, NC, and is native to Woodbridge, VA where she attended Hylton High School. Christina received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Neuroscience from The College of William and Mary and a Masters in Healthcare Management and Business Administration from Marymount University. She currently works in the Health Care industry and specializes in Medicare and Public Policy. Christina has held several leadership positions on the Chapter level and has served on numerous committees. Christina truly has a passion for service and believes that we should always leave a seat better than we found it.

I am a Spring 2009 initiate of the Woodbridge (VA) Alumni Chapter and; Damien serves as the 13th Polemarch. He is currently a Group Leader in the Executive Office of the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education at the US Department of Education. Damien is a Marine Corps Veteran, having served 4 years on active duty in the Finance Corps and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He has 35 years of experience in contracting, project management and construction. A native of Washington, DC, Ms. Andrews earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from George Mason University and her Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Marymount University. She retired from Lockheed Martin after 32 years of Human Resources service receiving numerous awards for her leadership and management skills. She is a Charter member of the Prince William County National Coalition of 100 Black Women. Ms. Andrews is committed to serving her community and to being a resource to others. A native of Goodman, MS, Deon K. Young is a 1993 graduate of Jackson State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science – Legal System. Deon obtained a Masters of Science in Administration – Leadership from Central Michigan University. Deon is a career military member spending 28+ years in the U.S. Army retiring February 1, 2020. Deon has served as Omicron Zeta’s 2nd Vice President and Membership Intake Process Chair. Deon works as a Senior Manager, Cyber Security for CACI, Inc. in support of the HQDA G-6 Special Access Program Division on Fort Belvoir, VA.

Ebony Rankin serves as the basileus for Psi Omicron Zeta in Manassas, Va. Ebony has been a member of the Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter for 11 years. She is currently the President of the chapter; other roles Ebony has held in the chapter were Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and Secretary. She is also the Adopt-A-School and Autism Awareness coordinator. She served in the US Navy as Human Resource Officer. Currently, Ebony is a Senior Policy Analyst at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. She is responsible for providing guidance on homelessness assistance policy and administering over 300 homelessness assistance grants totaling that assist individuals, families, and youth experiencing homelessness

Felicia Artwell is the Basileus of the Iota Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated serving Northern Virginia. Ms. Artwell is a Northern Virginia native, born and raised in Alexandria and resides in Woodbridge, VA. She attended Radford University where she was initiated into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated Spring 1991 through the Kappa Psi chapter. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Science and is currently attending the Liberty University School of Law seeking a double Juris Masters in Health Law and in Compliance. Felicia works as the Northeastern Regional Accounting Manager for DLA Piper LLP (US) and has over 20 years in the legal accounting industry. She is a Life and Ruby member of her organization. A native of Miami, FL, Polaris Kevin M. Austin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management from Bethune-Cookman College (now University), Daytona Beach, FL, in 1996. After College, Polaris Austin enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and served for 22 years until his retirement from service in 2018. While in the Marine Corps, he earned a Master of Business Administration and Management from Saint Leo University of Saint Leo, FL in 2009. Upon his initiation in the spring of 1994, Polaris Austin and his Line Brother’s made history by becoming the first Chapter in the state of Florida. He has held various fraternity leadership roles in his undergraduate and Alumni Chapter, prior to being elected as the current Polaris for the Beta Alpha Omega Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated. Professionally, Polaris Austin works at the Pentagon for the Department of Defense, Headquarters United States Marine Corps, as a Logistics Management Specialist.
