Contracting and 3PL Experts Join Forces to Form TH Logistics
Richmond, VA; June 17, 2016: Team Henry Enterprises (THE), a successful MBE certified multi-discipline contracting firm, and We Pack Logistics (WPL), a proven third party logistics (3PL) provider serving global consumer packaged goods clients, have formed TH Logistics (THL), a joint venture aimed at meeting the increasing demand for socially responsible and high value business solutions. By combining the skills and resources of two strong, performance-focused firms, the TH Logistics team seeks to help enlightened clients meet and exceed their supplier diversity targets while increasing the efficiency and quality of their supply chain functions. THL will provide a wide range of contract packaging, transportation and transloading, and value added warehousing and distribution (VAWD) services with a robust technology foundation and multiple global process certifications. THL operates at client locations or its own network of facilities in North Texas, North Carolina and the southeast, and is positioned for national expansion.
Devon M. Henry heads THL as President, and also serves as CEO and President of Team Henry Enterprises. He was the 2013 recipient of the American Express Government Contractor of the Year award, and more recently the US Small Business Administration Richmond, VA District Small Business Person of the Year. His firm THE has been cited throughout the business press as one of the fastest growing African American owned companies in the nation. He is a graduate of Norfolk State University and The University of Maryland.
Jordan Harper and Mike Bell are serving as Executive Vice President and VP of Operations for THL, respectively. Bell is also President of We Pack Logistics, and Harper heads its parent company, Harrison, Walker & Harper as CEO. Both bring extensive supply chain management expertise to the venture, with track records at major 3PL firms serving top tier consumer brands.
